Learn more about Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is the process of guiding someone into a trance, a state of deep relaxation where the client experiences heightened focus and concentration. They are also disburdened of the conscious mind’s control. In this state, clients are generally more relaxed and open to suggestion allowing subconscious patterning (memories, beliefs and coping strategies) to be revealed and transformed.

Hypnotherapy can be a useful complementary therapy to aid with things such as addiction, mild stress/anxiety, pain control, hot flashes, and behavioural change.

For our purposes, it is important to differentiate Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy from Clinical Hypnotherapy. Clinical Hypnotherapists undergo extensive training and are skilled in Counselling/Psychotherapy, making them adept at handling more complex cases such as trauma/PTSD, fears and phobias, sexual disfunction, and so on.
