Training Provider Services Specialist

We are the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT), an industry body offering membership and insurance for practitioners practicing complementary therapies. Over the years, IICT’s list of modalities have grown from 120 to more than 1,100, making IICT proud to provide the largest modality list in the world for professional membership and insurance.

The Role – Training Provider Services Specialist

The Training Provider Specialist role focuses on working with sole traders, schools, and colleges who offer complementary therapy courses to students around the world. In this rewarding role, you’ll be supporting providers by getting their courses certified by IICT for professional membership and insurance. Reporting to the CEO, the Training Provider Services Specialist is responsible for assisting IICT Training Providers and assessing new modalities. The role will be at the forefront of ensuring overall support and training advice for businesses is provided.

As a Training Provider Services Specialist, you will:

  • Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with IICT Training Providers and Training Provider leads 
  • Support Training Providers to maintain high quality standard of training 
  • Assist with and assess online applications for Training Providers and their course curriculums 
  • Maintain knowledge of Industry best practice by conducting industry research, ensuring businesses are meeting statutory obligations under training legislation, regulations, and guidelines 
  • Liaising with IICT’s international insurance partners for course approval 

Your Skills and Attributes

  • Experience or qualification(s) in training and assessment
  • Highly organised, with an eye for detail
  • Experience or interest in natural therapies is essential
  • Strong administration, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills, verbal, written
  • Knowledge of process required to develop a training course
  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills
  • Proficiency using CRM
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Mature approach to work with capacity to have an informative discussion
  • Curious and open mindset

Hours
This is a full time position for a 12-month minimum commitment. Once you’ve completed 6-months with us, you will be moved to a salary and a 4-day work week. Yes – you read that correctly! Work life balance is very important at IICT. We believe we can accomplish just as much in four days as we can in five days – if we’re happy in our lives. There are copious amounts of research on the four-day working week and we’re proof of it in action.

After 3-months of working at IICT, we will do a review of your performance. We will also conduct a survey where you can provide us with feedback and you’ll have the opportunity for further advancements throughout the year.
